Fiji 7s coach

It is good to finally know the truth behind the resignation of Waisale Serevi as revealed in his new book titled; Waisale Serevi — the King of Sevens, written by Nic Darveniza and published by Bay Area Publishing.
We are told that for standing his ground and fighting for what he believes was the way to lift sevens rugby in Fiji, Waisale Serevi was forced to resign as the national sevens coach by the former Fiji Rugby Union administrators under the chairmanship of Keni Dakuidreketi.
One thing we learn from the Serevi saga is that even though the FRU appoints the coach for our national rugby team, whether it is 7s, 10s or 15s, they also want to be a back-seat coach, to be involved in the selection of players and not allowing the appointed coach to take full control.
I believe that former 7s coach Ben Ryan must have faced a similar situation and that is why he is now a thorn in the flesh for the FRU.
Is coach Baber in full control of the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team?
I guess he should be as he went to hell after all the nasty criticism thrown at him just a few months ago.
My point is for the FRU to give the coach full accountability and responsibility and not to interfere as revealed by Serevi in his new book, for the world to know.
