Update: 1:48PM FULTON Hogan Hiways (FHH) will soon carry out a major survey of all their road network signage on Vanua Levu.
A statement from FHH said those upgrading works and replacements were necessary.
FHH Operations Manager North Solo Nabete said they were also working with schools in the North to provide them with patrol safety equipment.
“We are educating road users and especially drivers to ensure the safety of school students,” Mr Nabete said.
He said that was part of overall plans to increase awareness over the safe use of our road networks, especially around schools and road work sites by standardising visibility around major road networks, considering the high road death toll last year.
FHH recently provided three schools in Savusavu with school patrol safety equipment.
