THE Australian government is committed to working closely with Fiji’s Education Ministry for the benefit of the country.
Speaking in Ra yesterday, Australian High Commissioner to Fiji John Feakes said education was a key pillar of Australia’s aid program.
“We recognise that access to quality education is every child’s right and we also believe that contributing to quality education for all is a means to achieve economic growth and improve the well-being of society,” Mr Feakes said.
“Australia values its long-standing partnership with Fiji in the education sector and we are committed to continuing our support to education post-Access to Quality Education Program (AQEP).”
