Father of three to appear in court for murder

A FATHER of three children who allegedly murdered his wife last week has been charged with one count of murder.

Wainikoro farmer Yogesh Lal will be produced in the Magistrates Court in Labasa today.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro confirmed the suspect was charged over the weekend.

It is alleged that the suspect, before committing the alleged crime at Navoalevu, Wainikoro on August 21 at his in-laws place, turned off the lights by tampering with the metre box.
