Farmer charged for possession of methamphetamine

A FARMER of Vunivivi Hill in Nausori will be produced at the Nausori Magistrates Court today after he was allegedly found with crystal like substances later tested positive to be methamphetamine.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the 33-year-old farmer has been charged with one count of found in possession of illicit drugs.

“Officers searched the accused at Syria Park on Tuesday afternoon where they allegedly found the illicit substances in his possession,” Ms Naisoro said.
