Namosi leads Naitasiri 12-7 in the halftime break in the Farebrother and Skipper Cup doubleheader clash at Thomson Park in Navua.
Naitasiri drew first blood six minutes into the first half from Skipper Seremaia Naureure scoring their first try and successful conversion from Kini Douglas to take them into the leaf 7-0.
However seven minutes later, Namosi tight head prop Jone Naqiri scored the hosts first try to trail 7-5 with an unsuccessful attempt at goal.
Both teams kept the momentum until the final whistle when Naitasiri made a mistake in their lineout and Namosi made use of the opportunity to score a try from loose head prop Atu Maiono, and converted by flyhalf Joseva Vunisa to take them into 12-7 lead in the first half.
Earlier, Fiji Times Online had reported that the 1500 tickets were sold out, leaving many more fans waiting outside for any luck to be able to watch this match.
