Farebrother Trophy holder Nadi is ready to do its talking on the paddock when the team takes on the challenge of Rewa in their anticipated double-header and first round of Skipper Cup match tomorrow.
“History will tell you when Nadi meets Rewa there is always fireworks, and we expect this round to be no different,” said Nadi rugby president Jeff Tamata.
“And I believe that it has been over 20 years and now we see Rewa challenge again for the Farebrother which is huge.”
Tamata said Rewa was never a pushover team and he expected both teams to create more history at Prince Charles Park.
“We welcome our kinsmen Rewa back to the Skipper Cup competition, which is proof and testament itself of Rewa’s strength and the work coach Alivereti Doviverata and the officials are doing.”
Formalities aside Tamata said the champions were ready to do everything to see the Farebrother where it rightfully belongs. “It’s not going away easily and definitely not without a fight.”
Jack’s Nadi hosts Rewa tomorrow at Prince Charles Park in Nadi at 3pm.
