Fantastic brand for Fiji

A NUMBER of Australian media personnel working with top publications recently received an opportunity to experience a holiday at five-star property Six Senses Fiji.
The trip was organised by Tourism Fiji and the resort for personnel who represented high-end fashion, lifestyle and trendsetting media outlets such as Harper’s Bazaar, Escape and Delicious Magazine in Australia.
According to Tourism Fiji, Six Senses Fiji was a significant development for the country as it combined wellness and sustainability under the global luxury boutique brand.
Tourism Fiji CEO Matthew Stoeckel said Six Senses was a fantastic brand to launch in Fiji.
“The resort provided the perfect backdrop for an immersive famil to some of Australia’s leading publications to highlight the natural beauty and wellness experiences of the destination,” Mr Stoeckel said.
“At Tourism Fiji, we know seeing is believing and it is famils such as this that enable us to best showcase the incredible experiences that Fiji has to offer.”
Part of the activities enjoyed by the group included a candle-lit Fijian dinner hosted by Six Senses and Tourism Fiji.
Journalist Lisa Mayoh from Escape Magazine, who was one of the participants, said she was eager to showcase her story for readers.
Each media representative also received tailored itineraries that outlined various activities within the destination.
The famil included activities such as travelling to the Malamala Beach Club, Cloud 9 and experiencing diving, hill treks and local village visits.
Tourism Fiji said coverage about the trip was expected to appear over the next quarter.
This will complement additional broadcast public relations activities in the Australian tourism market.
