The National Federation Party has accused the Government of buying “fake likes” to sham its popularity on social media.

Party leader Professor Biman Prasad said these “fake likes” could be purchased on the internet from so-called “like farms”.

“Our Government is paying for this — or is it paying someone to arrange this,” Prof Prasad claims.

Prof Prasad said two well-known commentators have publicly exposed the practice.
