FORMER national 7s captain Ro Alivereti Doviverata says the inclusion of Semi Radradra and Josua Tuisova in the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team will make the side unbeatable if they play in the London 7s this weekend or in Paris next weekend. Doviverata said the team which had local-based players had been consistent throughout the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

“The inclusion of Radradra and Tuisova will boost the team morale,” Ro Doviverata said.

He said the team needed to stick to the basics and their game plans would be perfected with the presence of Tuisova, Radradra and Eroni “Sledgehammer” Sau.

“The team has been performing well so far, and the inclusion of Tuisova and Radradra will give them the advantage of securing the London title and the series,” he said.

“Fiji needs to get the basics right and with the strength in the backline, they will be unstoppable. “Radradra has the speed and a great defender whereas Tuisova and Sau have the capabilities of running through opponents and give bone crushing defence.”

Radradra and Tuisova joined the Fiji team on Tuesday after they helped the Barbarians beat England 63-45 on Sunday.

Radradra, a rover, and Olympics gold medallist winger Tuisova could be a deadly combination against any team when combined with speedy Alasio Naduva or Amemoni Nasilasila or Waisea Nacuqu at halfback while skipper Jerry Tuwai or Vatemo Ravouvou come at playmaker.

Sau could alternate with Tuisova. Radradra and Tuisova’s presence add pressure on Baber’s team list on who to drop to allow the duo game time.

Fiji plays Argentina on Saturday at 10.20pm, Scotland on Sunday at 2.26am and New Zealand at 4.32am.

The cup quarter-finals will start at 9.58pm, semi-final begin at 1.48am Monday morning and the final to be played at 4.57am.
