Ex-manager pleads not guilty

A FORMER operations manager pleaded not guilty to a corruption related offence at the Magistrates Court in Suva yesterday.

Reginald Roniesh Lal appeared before Magistrate Deepika Prakash.

Mr Lal is charged with one count of falsification of documents.

It is alleged that Mr Lal falsified Tax Compliance Certificates from the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) to obtain a gain from Advance Construction and Aldex Trading Limited.

The alleged incident took place in October, last year.

The case has been adjourned to April 18.
