Outsource Fiji was able to raise Fiji’s profile as the outsourcing destination of choice for Australian and New Zealand Companies at the Contact Centre Week in Gold Coast Australia.

According to a statement, Outsource Fiji was the destination partner and awards night sponsor for CCW 2022 which was held from February 23 to 25.

The Fiji delegation was led by the Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport Faiyaz Koya.

“Fiji has become a ‘nearshoring mecca’ because of our close proximity to the New Zealand and Australian markets,” he said during his keynote address at the Contact Centre Week (CCW) Awards Night.

“We are in the same time zone, so communication with Fijian partners becomes easy – and it takes only three and half to 4 hours to reach Fiji.

“And whilst you are in Fiji meeting your local service provider, you can also enjoy a perfect holiday.

“Besides our strategic location, we have familiarity with the culture and lifestyle of the Pacific region.”

The CCW Excellence Awards was said to recognise the most innovative companies and top-performing executives for their extraordinary contributions to the customer contact profession.

“With our excellent service culture and ability to create a positive customer experience we could be your company’s competitive advantage in this highly competitive business environment,” said Outsource Fiji executive director Sagufta Janif.

She added to further market Fiji as an outsourcing destination, the BPO council of Fiji launched the Outsource Fiji brand.

“The new identity represents people and their excellent service culture and their ability to deliver excellent customer experience.

“Our people are truly our greatest asset.

“With low staff turnovers, access to a highly qualified large talent pool and a young tech savy population – the people of Fiji are the reason for many global brands currently outsourcing to Fiji.”

The new logo depicts a helping hand gesture which was incorporated with the Davui which is a conch shell trumpet that produces a loud sound that carries over long distances.

According to the statement from the council the idea of the ‘Davui’ in Outsource Fiji encompasses the message of; to call, to summon to action – community and harmony.

CCW Australia & New Zealand was said to be the leading contact centre event in the southern hemisphere and home to the customer contact community.
