A suite of Video Tele-Conferencing equipment was recently handed over to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces at the Officers’ Mess at Nabua by the Australian High Commission Assistant Defence Advisor to Fiji, Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) Khan Beaumont.

LCDR Beaumont said that the equipment is to strengthen the ‘Vuvale Partneship’ between the two nations’ militaries.

The Commander Land Force (CLF), Colonel Onisivoro Covunisaqa  who received the equipment said that it has been some time since the Mess has been populated by members.

Colonel Covunisaqa said since the beginning of the second wave the Mess had been utilised for isolation.

He said the donation which includes include a 75” Smart TV, a conferencing camera, microphone and other audio-video peripherals not only brings Officers together into the Mess again but will strengthen and bring closer the relationship between the two militaries.
