Owners of popular Suva store Salt and Pepper Home Décor have stepped into the beauty industry with the launch of their new store Bold and Beautiful.

The store celebrated its official launch on May 19, 2023, on the heels of the original store’s one year anniversary.

Present in support of the small business owners, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, Professor Biman Prasad emphasised the importance that MSME entrepreneurs support employees and by extension Fijian families.

Salt and Pepper Home Décor director Shireen Shivan said: “In April, we marked an incredible milestone and celebrated the first anniversary of our founding.

“Now, with our sights set on the next coming years, today we will kick off with another new challenge. And of course, the journey has just begun! We will soon diversify into other areas to serve you with even better product range.”

Bold and Beautiful director Shanal Shivan said: “Being in the business for a little over one year, we saw a huge potential in the beauty and skin care industry.

“That transpired to the launch of the new Bold and Beautiful brand, specifically formulated in Hollywood that has its own brand of concealer, foundation, matte lipsticks, eyeliners to name a few.

“Not only we are launching this new brand tonight, but we have created a friendly environment to ensure when customers come to shop, we provide them with unique aesthetics to ensure ever-evolving beauty innovations.”

The Bold and Beautiful store, which will also carry the popular Lovissa brand of jewellery from Australia, is now open to customers and is located at the Sports City complex in Suva.
