Resort workers and tourism operators were emotional this morning as they entered the Nadi International Airport for the first time in months.

Rosie Holidays general manager Eroni Puamau said their staff were overcome with emotion knowing they were back at work.

“Its so great to see familiar faces again and we couldn’t help but be emotional over this day because of how long we’ve waited for this.”

The first flight of tourists arrived from Sydney this morning.
