Reinforcing their commitment to empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Business Assistance Fiji (BAF) has conducted an e-commerce training workshop at Tavua Primary School.

The training aims to create awareness among local businesses on the importance of embracing e-commerce.

BAF also joined forces with Vodafone Fiji to link MSMEs to popular E-commerce platform Viti Kart.

Those who subscribe through BAF are also offered a reduced commission from 3 per cent to 2 per cent.

Training facilitator Maria Ronna emphasised the importance of having a business page on social media platforms and provided them with product photography tips.

The organisation reportedly received positive feedback from participants, with many expressing gratitude for the invaluable knowledge gained.

AFC Fried Chicken owner Ashutosh Kumar expressed his satisfaction at learning effective strategies for promoting his business on social media platforms as well as through e-commerce channels.

Neeleshni Devi, who runs a handicraft business, said, “I enjoyed interacting with other participants and gaining insights into their respective business models, which inspired me to explore fresh ideas in managing my business.”

BAF services can be accessed through their website at businessassistancefiji.com.
