ANOTHER village located in rural Nadi has received electricity through the Government’s electrification scheme.
The Amgali electrification project was commissioned in Nadi this morning.
Minister for Infrastructure Jone Usamate said Government’s vision was to transform the lives of every Fijian.
More than $300,000 was spent on the project, which is expected to benefit about 117 people.
“We want all Fijians to have access to basic utilities and infrastructure, roads, water, electricity, school,” he said.
“We will continue to put in place enabling and sustainable policies and frameworks to build a modern, resilient and dynamic infrastructure.”
