Eight Fijians arrive on flight from Abu Dhabi

Eight Fiji nationals living in Al Ain, Dubai and Abu Dhabi arrived in Nadi this morning on a special Etihad Airways chartered flight from Abu Dhabi to Nadi.

The repatriation was made possible after a request from Fiji’s Ambassador in Dubai to Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, UAE’s Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Development Affairs.

Second Secretary at the Dubai Embassy, Semisi Seruitanoa was at the airport to ensure their smooth check-in before bidding farewell to group of Fijians.
