EIB top official to visit

Update: 12:56PM THE European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice President, Ambroise Fayolle will be visiting Fiji this Thursday, November 3.
Mr Fayolle is expected to meet with Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama as
well as Fiji�s Minister for Economy, Public Enterprises, Public Service and
Communications, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
A statement by the Delegation of the European Union for the Pacific said
further meetings will be held with European Union Ambassador to Fiji and the Pacific,
Andrew Jacobs and other foreign dignitaries to discuss further cooperation, as
well as with development partners, stakeholders and the media.
The Delegation will furthermore meet with Fiji Electricity Authority to
sign an extension of the EIB�s technical assistance programme in the country.
The signing of this agreement is scheduled at 3pm on November 3.
