EFL non-account holders can soon buy shares

NON-ACCOUNT holders of Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) can soon buy shares under EFL’s Offer Free Shares initiative.

Revealing this, Attorney-General and Economy Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said currently non-domestic holders could not buy shares with EFL.

“Eventually the idea is that the shares will be listed on the South Pacific Stock Exchange and people can buy and sell shares then,” he said.
