Education ministers gather in Nadi

DELEGATES from Commonwealth member countries were in Nadi last week for the 20th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers (CCEM).

With the theme “Sustainability and Resilience: Can Education Deliver”, the meeting was the first of its kind to be held in a Pacific Island nation.

In her welcome address, Commonwealth of Nations secretary-general Patricia Scotland said the meeting and associated Integrated Partners Forum would offer new opportunities for government ministers, students, teachers, higher education teachers, business partners and civil society organisations.
