Pre-polling is on the roll, and as we count down the days to the big day on Wednesday next week, there will no doubt be interest focused on the power of attraction.
However you want to look at it, one thing is certain, thoughts are flying, strategies are being discussed now and there is political manoeuvring taking place.
It is pretty difficult to shrug aside the importance of the undecided voter in the greater scheme of things.
That is going to definitely attract attention. It’s something political parties want to dominate.

There will surely be many reasons for the undecided voter block, and this is something to expect during national elections.
The challenge for the parties is to understand the masses, get a feel of the pulse of the nation, and make the right calls.
They will have to ask themselves what they can offer the undecided voter, and push this across clearly.
Yesterday, political parties praised comments attributed to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Commander Major General Ro Jone Kalouniwai about democracy and the importance of the voting process.
In his address at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces end-of-year parade at Queen Elizabeth Barracks on Monday, the RFMF Commander ordered his soldiers to honour the democratic process by respecting the outcome of the votes in the 2022 General Election.
That is the way it should be. Our votes will decide our future!
We have the power to chart our path forward as a nation, embracing policies that we hope will be good for us all.
There are obviously many issues Fijians hold close to their heart. Parties will want to know about voting intentions. They know the big issues out there.
Right now, it is about appreciating what the various parties have to offer, reflecting on the past four years, and considering what is good for us all.
We need to be clear about what we want to see in our government over the next four years, and we have the power to make that decision collectively.
With six days left to go, we are reminded once again about the importance of our role in determining what sort of government we want to lead us over the next four years.
Again, we reiterate how important it is that we make the effort to prioritise being part of the voting process. Interesting days are coming as parties raise the tempo heading into the final stretch!
