“EARLY detection is the key to this disease,” stated Suva Golden Oldies Rugby club president Mason Smith.

The Suva Golden Oldies Rugby Club that advocates for prostate cancer in Fiji will play the Police oldies rugby team tomorrow at Nasova ground.

“The game with Police is a lead up to our main balls and beards festival on Saturday, November 24th,” said SGORC president Mason Smith.

“The Balls and Beards festival is where we raise money for prostate cancer awareness to defray the cost of testing for men in Fiji for prostate cancer.

“We normally meet up with the Police and Army around this time of year because of their own preparations for the Sukuna Bowl competition.”

There will be a rugby tag skills session for children as well under the supervision of former Flying Fijians Viliame Gadolo and others.
