Duo face club suspension

FORMER Fiji 7s reps Waisea Nayacalevu and Josaia Wini have been suspended by their Top 14 club Stade Francais, the club announced yesterday.
This, after the two were alleged to have assaulted two women outside a Paris nightclub over the weekend.
According to Leparisie, a France sports website, “the two Fijian wingers and a third unidentified person, attacked three youngsters at the exit of the nightclub Les Nuits Fauves, located near the station of Austerlitz.
“Two complaints were filed: the first one for voluntary violence in a state of intoxication concerns for both players, the second for sexual assault only targets Raisuqe.
“They are accused of having hit two people in the neck and face, as well as having a young woman in the chest pressed to the wall and brutally seized.”
The report stated the pair will be tried on November 29.
“Nayacalevu and Raisuqe learned of the decision of their leaders this morning (yesterday), “at the same time as the presentation of a summons to a meeting prior to a disciplinary sanction in which they can explain to the club about the facts that they are blamed for,” the Stade FranÃ§ais said.
