A 19-YEAR-OLD farmer of Nakoroivau, Tailevu has been arrested after police seized 22 plots containing 83 plants believed to be marijuana.
Chief Intelligence and Investigation Officer ACP Vakacegu Toduadua said the plants have been sent for analysis and the suspect is in custody as investigation continue.
Meanwhile a 23-year-old man was also arrested in relation to drugs at the Nadi Municipal Market.
ACP Toduadua said the suspect was found in possession of sachet of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
“The drugs has been sent for analysis as the suspect remains in custody.”
He confirmed that both arrests were made yesterday
