WOMEN play an important role in addressing issues like violence and drug abuse in their community.

This was shared to women of Lautoka’s Mount Zion Cathedral Assemblies of God Church today.

Kalesi Volatabu, who was once a drug addict in Australia, shared her journey with about 100 women with the hopes of inspiring them to stand up and fight out these issues that are affecting our community today.

“The ladies were touched by the testimony and most of them were proud to be part of the awareness as it enlightens their knowledge on issues like domestic violence and drug abuse,” she said.

The awareness was conducted by Ms Volatabu as part of the Drug Free Fiji campaign which operates under the Volatabu Group.
