THE Fijian Drua is aiming for a bonus point victory against Queensland Country to make the semi-final of the National Rugby Championship.

Fijian Drua is on fifth position on the NRC points table while Queensland Country is in fourth position.

Fiji Drua captain Joeli Veitayaki said they were ready for the game at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka today.

“We try to improve on some of the mistakes for last game,” he said.

“As this is rapid rugby we have to be smart and have discipline.

“We are ready for the game this weekend and we are looking forward for it.

“It is a must for us to win and if not we won’t go up to the semi-final.” Fijian Drua is the defending champion of the NRC. Veitayaki said they had to stick to the format and the structure of the competition.

“We will have to match them up for the full 80 minutes and we are hoping to conquer them.

“Our main aim this Saturday (today) is to win and we request our supporters to come out in numbers to support us.
