THE Fiji Airways Drua side will secure a semi-final in the National Rugby Championship if they beat Canberra Vikings this week.

After the 48-7 win over NSW Country Eagles last Saturday, the Drua has extended its outright lead on the standings with 19 points after six rounds.

Queensland Country has 14 points while Canberra Vikings and Western Force have 13 points each.

A bonus point win will ensure the Drua a home semi-final.

Fijian Drua takes on Canberra Vikings at 3pm at Churchill Park on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in other matches over the weekend, Western Force thumped Sydney Rays 63-15, Brisbane City beat Queensland Country 39-24 while Canberra Vikings beat Melbourne Rising 31-21.
