Drama promotes iTaukei culture, tradition

Update: 7:17PM THE Na iLululu — drama aimed at promoting the iTaukei culture and tradition is set to hit Suva over the next few nights.

The drama was first staged at the Playhouse
at the Selbourne St in Suva last night. 

Tickets are selling at $10 each at
the iTaukei Trust Fund Board office in Draiba and at the Playhouse.

The
drama, which is expected to run for 11 nights, is a second of a three-series
drama co-written by playwright and director Larry Thomas and Dr Apolonia
Tamata.

The
first production – Lakovi – was staged succesfully in 2010.

Performances
are scheduled at The Playhouse on October 3,4,8,9,10,11, 15,16,17 and 18.
