MORE women in the Tailevu province suffer from high blood pressure when compared to men.
Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete made this known at the provincial council meeting held at Ucunivanua Village in Verata today.
“The women say that husband causes them to have high blood pressure,” Dr Waqainabete said.
“Please look after your health because this is one of the most common health problems in this province.”
He said high blood pressure was one of the most common health problems found in the province, the council meeting heard.
