THE right compass to battling Non-Communicable Diseases is just on your plate, says Dr Sakiusa Mainawalala.

While this may be very challenging for many people, the senior lecturer from the University of Fiji said people needed to understand that if they did not act today, they would lose their lives to such sickness that was crippling our society today.

“We value good health and good life, remember if we don’t act today, we get exterminated,” Dr Mainawalala said.

“Our biggest problem is the spare parts we are putting in our body.”
