Domolailai is the fastest in Nadroga

Sakeo Domolailai of Cuvu College won the Blue ribbon event during the Nadroga/Navosa Coca-Cola Games athletics meet at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka yesterday.

He finished the race in a time of 10.87 seconds. Daniel R of Nasikawa Vision College finished second while Timonium Kotoisuva of Sigatoka Methodist College came in third.

In the girls division, SMC’s Joana Komaiyasa won with a time of 13.95 seconds while schoolmate Seini Gaunavou came in second and Litia Taufa finishing third.

Meanwile, Cuvu College and Sigatoka Methodist College lead the boys and girls divisions respectively after day one of competition.

Cuvu College leads with five gold, seven silver and four bronze medals while Sigatoka Methodist has nine gold, nine silver and four bronze medals to lead the girls division.

Day two of competition will be held today.
