DIGICEL Fiji has rolled out a new digital music application for its local customers – an “innovative product” to complement its high internet mobile data uptake.
The mobile app called d’Music app, which is said to have been tailor-made for the local market, allows Digicel customers to stream songs from a catalogue of over 30 million songs.
According to Digicel regional chief executive officer Pacific Group, Colin Stone, the new app brings more value to its customers, particularly with its eminent 7GB data for $7 valid for seven days.
“We’ve been focused on data and it’s great to see the uptake of our 7GB plans, and our customers are loving the value we are bringing them,” Mr Stone said at the launch of the music app in Suva today.
“Today, we are bringing them more value and we are bringing them the ability to use that value wisely.
“It’s exciting for us in the market to bring content, because content brings data usage and that’s what our network is here to do.”
The d’Music app, which has been already made available to Digicel’s international markets, boasts a wide range of music genres including those by local and regional artists, Mr Stone confirmed.
Digicel Fiji has also announced that customers who download and log in to the d’Music app this month will receive a free premium trial from the day of opt-in.
The app is available for both Android and Apple devices and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
However, you have to opt in to a plan to continue enjoying the app as the free premium trial ends after 30 days from launch.
d’Music plans can be subscribed from the d’Music app, *555# and from My Digicel app.
