Nadi Bula Festival Trust president Ravin Nadan said this year’s event would be a little different.

“We are ready to go and we want to assure the people of Nadi that we have something special in store for them in this year’s festival” he said.

“Our focus this year is on the environment and the importance of maintaining it for our future generations.

“At this year’s event we have nine queens who are committed spreading the message to protect our environment.”

The festival officially begins this Saturday at Prince Charles Park.
