CHILDREN admitted at CWM hospital were all smiles after they received gifts and treated to morning tea by deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu today.

Mr Tudravu said no one should be left behind as the country celebrated its 48th year of soverignty tomorrow.

“This is to show the intention of the Government, which is not to live anyone behind through these celebrations,” he said.

Mr Tudravu reiterated to parents and guidance to always look after their children well.

“The world we are living in today is far different when we compare it to our younger days and if there is a message I would like to send to the guardians that are here, please attend and see that priority is given to our children.

“I thank the staff nurses here for their service done to your children that are here. Some of your children are very unfortunate to be celebrating Fiji Day here in the hospital but I hope that our presence this morning will comfort you and show you that we are thinking of everybody.”
