Fiji Eats has partnered with international restaurant chain McDonalds as their delivery agent in Nadi.
According to director of Fiji Eats, Shanil Chandra, being able to meet their international standard requirements demonstrated Fiji Eats level of service.
“McDonalds also has been the most requested restaurant so we are super excited to have an option for customers they are also excited by,” he said.
“We want our customers to know that we are always listening to their feedback.”
Fiji Eats orders went live yesterday and were available for orders from 10.30am. The company provides service in Lautoka, Nadi and the greater Suva area.
“Currently we only have the McDonalds Nadi restaurant on our platform to streamline the processes before we bring on board the other outlets.
“We are confident that the restaurants will be on our platform in no time,” said Mr Chandra.
Fiji Eats was planning to increase the range of restaurants in the areas they were already operating in.
Mr Chandra said they would ensure to have the network to support a large number of orders while maintaining quality service.
“Definitely, we do have medium term goals to expand and ideally we want to be in all the major towns in Fiji, including Vanua Levu,” he said.
Mr Chandra added this partnership was in process before the onset of the second wave of COVID-19.
“In light of COVID-19, our entire operations and all our partnerships are quite significant.
“We are able to provide a safe option for our customers to enjoy restaurant food and at the same time we provide jobs and support the livelihood of all our delivery partners and employees. We are pleased that we are able to support restaurants by providing them with an additional channel for revenue.”
Restaurants were encouraged to sign up to join Fiji Eats as restaurant partners as well.
“We do not charge any upfront sign up fees and the entire on boarding process is seamless.
