THE review of the national youth policy will be completed by the end of next month.
This has been confirmed by theYouth and Sports Minister Parveen Kumar who also said $30,000 was allocated in the 2019-2020 National Budget towards this initiative.
He said that he understood the frustration on the delay but they were working hard to get the policy out.
In response, SODELPA youth president Jope Koroisavou said the delay was “old news”.
“I am not at all surprised by the delays – it is indicative of the competence (or the lack of it) of the minister to understand the work that is required to ensure the holistic development of Fiji’s youth population,” Mr Koroisavou said.
