MORE than 40 swimmers from Swami Viveknanda College will feature in this weekend’s Fiji Schools Swimming competition scheduled in Suva.

The defending national girls champion have been training hard with the aim to keep the title for five consecutive years.

The school is also eyeing to dethrone boys champion Marist Brothers High School after finishing second in the last two years.

Team official Vika Bakewa said the team would be out to improve from where it left off last year.

Top schools that will pose stiff competition include Suva Grammar, Natabua High School, Nadi Muslim, and Saint Joseph High School to name a few.

The competition kicks off on Friday.
