2 May, 2019, 4:24 pm
A MAN charged with one count of aggravated sexual servitude and three counts of domestic trafficking in children appeared before the High Court in Suva today.
It is alleged that Josevata Werelagi committed the offences between July 18-22, 2015.
Mr Werelagi had pleaded not guilty to all the charges earlier.
Defence lawyer Talei Kean informed the court that Mr Werelagi would be maintaining his not guilty plea and the defence would have to re-look at the evidence and speak to her client again.
Justice Daniel Goundar remanded the accused in custody.
The case has been adjourned to May 23.
