David Campese declares availability to coach Fiji

WORLD and Australian rugby legend David Ian Campese has declared his availability to coach Fiji.

The master goosestepper is in Fiji for a series of coaching clinics and educational mentor ship to selected  schools in Fiji today and tomorrow.

“I would love to coach the Fiji team,” Campese, in an exclusive interview with The Fiji Times today, said.

He paid tribute to Fijian Waisale Serevi, the late Jonah Lomu, New Zealand’s Eric Rush and Christian Cullen, who helped popularize 7s rugby.

Campese is in Fiji as part of his ambassadorial work with University of Newcastle in Australia.

He leaves for Samoa tomorrow.
