Baber rates Kavekini

FIJI’S latest sevens inclusion Kavekini Tabu will be unleashed at the 2019-2020 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series this Friday in Dubai.

The younger brother of Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Isoa Tabu, has been labelled “the man who could make a difference”.

Fiji Airways Fiji 7s men’s coach Gareth Baber said the nimble young player was expected to make a huge impact in Dubai.

“Kavekini has a great work ethic and is particularly quick with his movementwhich makes it difficult for the opposition to mark him.

He is a huge element to surprise the opposing side in the game,” said Baber.

The Fiji men’s 7s side will play Japan at 4.02am on Friday in its first Dubai 7s pool match before meeting Argentina at 10.04pm the same evening.

Their final pool match will be against France at 4.02am on Saturday.
