THROUGH his work, Danny Threapleton’s been lucky enough to visit seven provinces in Fiji. He’s stayed in many villages but mainly worked on Koro Island.
Originally from Portsmouth, England, Mr Threapleton has been living in Fiji for more than four years and works at Think Pacific as a Youth and Sports development officer.
He plays rugby, loves fresh produce, likes to eat healthy and fuel his body right.
His favourite places to shop are NewWorld IGA in Damodar City and the Suva Municipal Market.
“NewWorld is perfect for me because it has a good mix of food and products I love in Fiji and also they have some things that I used to buy when living back in England,” he said.
“The Suva market is also a great spot because of the bright colours when you walk around the fresh fruits and vegetables, the constant buzz about the place… And it’s also great to support farmers and Fijians who sell there. I always get my fruits and vegetables from the market.”
