Cricket: Fiji to play Samoa in world T20 qualifier

THE Fiji cricket side has an important match lined up against Samoa in the ICC World T20 EAP Qualifier today.

The match was scheduled to take place yesterday but was postponed due to unfavourable playing conditions.

Fiji has a win and a loss under its belt and will be looking to extending its points on the table.

On Saturday, the Fijians beat Vanuatu by three wickets before losing to PNG by 75 runs.

Fiji takes on Samoa at 2pm at Albert Park in Suva.

In another match, at the same time, Vanuatu plays PNG.
