Navua Police had said confirmed to Fiji Times Online that police officers had cleared the crowd outside the supermarket earlier today and advised the security guards to maintain it.

However, when the Fiji Times Onlineteam visited the supermarket at 2pm, a long queue had again formed and did not follow the 2m social distancing restriction.

Navua Police has directed one of the officers to be present outside the supermarket so restrictions are adhered to.
