COVID-19: No new cases reported in last 24 hours

There has not been any new case of COVID-19 recorded by Fiji’s Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete said no new cases were recorded in the last 24-hours.

“We have five cases; two imported and three community transmission,” Dr Waqainabete stated in a post on his official Instagram account.

Meanwhile, more than 458,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded worldwide.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) statistics released today, more than 18,500 people have also succumbed to the virus across the world.
