All mosques and masjids in Fiji have been closed by the Fiji Muslim League.
In a notice, FML has stated all places of worship will be closed until further notice because of the impact of COVID-19.
“All Muslims are advised to offer prayers at their homes,” said national president Hafizud Dean Khan.
“Social distancing must be strictly adhered to at all times.”
Mr Khan said all Muslims had to adhere to those measures for their safety and security and that of their loved ones and the country.
