COVID-19: Man smuggled into Lautoka lockdown area, tests negative

A man who recently returned from Uruguay via Singapore and smuggled his way into the greater Lautoka area during the lockdown period has tested negative to COVID-19.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama said the man was one of the 25 people who were tested for the virus yesterday.

He said the man would still be investigated for his actions.
