The Land Transport Authority has suspended all driving tests, including learners permit from today.

According to the Authority, this was due to the requirements of having an effective social distancing policy.

“As soon as we are in a position to safely resume all driver testing, we will do so. Customers will be advised accordingly,” said LTA CEO Samuel Simpson in a statement.

“Your learners permit conditions still apply during the period of suspension. If your permit expires during the period of suspension of tests, you will need to re-apply,” he said.

The Authority has apologised for the inconvenience this may have caused.
