COVID-19: Fijian health ministry reports 18 new cases

Fiji has recorded 18 new cases of COVID-19.

Eleven of those new cases were recorded on September 2, three on September 3 and four new cases recorded in the last 24 hours ending 8am yesterday.

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services states of the 18 cases, six were recorded in the Central Division and 12 in the Western Division.

It stated cases in the Central Division constituted 66 per cent of the cumulative total cases nationally, with the Western Division making up 28 per cent, 4 per cent in the North and 2 per cent in the Eastern Division.

No COVID death was reported.
