COVID-19: Fifteen people arrested for curfew breach

Police arrested 15 people for breach of curfew last night.

Commissioner of Police, Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho said 10 arrests were made in the Southern division, the Western division recording four reports and the Northern division recorded one case.

Brig-Gen Qiliho said  two reports involved an 18 and 19-year-old who were arrested for breach of curfew and a case of alleged aggravated robbery which occurred in Tavakubu.

“Four arrests made involved three men and one woman who were found driving along Jerusalem Road during curfew hours by the Southern division Highway team,” he said.

The Eastern and Central divisions recorded nil cases.
